* Current trend of policy implementation of the three countries
* China presented the Tort Liability Law of the People's Republic of China enforced in July 2010, which stipulates the responsibility of distributors and producers for damage to consumers caused by product defect. Japan presented the operation of Practical Living Information Online network System (PIO-NET), which is equipped in every municipality for collection and management of consumer related information.

■Outcome
With a view to protecting consumers from international dispute, they discussed ways to operate Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) system in liaison with each other and agreed to form a working group and conduct a survey on the experience of victims.
