To implement the concrete results of 2009 Busan Declaration, the first Trilateral Cultural Industry Cooperation Task Force meeting has been held by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan. NOBUTANI Kazushige, Director of Media and Content Industry Division of Commerce and Information Policy Bureau, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan; ZHENG Wen, Director of International Culture Trade Department of Bureau for External Cultural Relations, Ministry of Culture of China; and KIM Cheol-min, Director of Cultural Content Industry Office of Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of
ROK attended the meeting.
Aiming to strengthen closer communication in working level, the three ministries submitted 11 proposals in the meeting and exchanged views on the necessity and accessibility of these proposals. They agreed to conduct the second meeting later in preparation for the 9th Trilateral Cultural Industry Forum.

During Seoul International Music Festival 2010, “2010 Trilateral Culture Shuttle Concert - Ensemble Ditto Recital” featuring leading musicians among the three countries was organized by Korea Foundation Cultural Center in conjunction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of ROK, which drew rave reviews from music enthusiasts among the three countries.

■ Outcome
The “2009 Trilateral Youth Festival” jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of ROK and the Ministry of Health and Welfare of ROK, involved 300 youths from the three countries gathered in the Hongik University area in Seoul for a street parade with showcases performed with instruments made from recycled containers, pipes and boxes. In addition to Korean and Asian fusion musical performances, an exhibition was set up by the youths along the streets displaying different types of traditional costumes and artifacts of the three countries.
