■Outcome :
* Confirmed to enhance research and development, and address global issues such as global warming, infectious diseases, water, disasters and energy with a full interest of the three Ministers in the Joint Statement on Strengthening Science and Innovation Cooperation issued by the three governments in 2010.
* Agreed to further promote JRCP through appropriate measures, such as raising the fund or increasing the number of projects, and to encourage the private sector to participate in JRCP.
* Identified the priorities of the 4th and 5th rounds of JRCP as water cycle, disaster prevention, and environment.
* Emphasized the significance of enhanced exchanges among researchers.
* Welcomed the establishment of the website for the annual Young Researchers Workshop to emphasize the importance of exchange among researchers and of holding the Workshop.
* Decided to organize the 2nd Green Technology Forum on the strength of success of the 1st Forum in Jeju, ROK in 2010.
* Confirmed to hold the 4th Ministerial Meeting in ROK in 2014.

* Definition of cooperative projects under the framework of the Trilateral Ministerial Meeting on Science and Technology Cooperation
* Trilateral Joint Research Collaboration Program (JRCP) and Workshop Program for the Young Researchers (WPYR)

■Outcome :
* Confirmed the definition of cooperative project in order to stimulate joint research among the three countries.
* Shared the recognition of three Ministers’ responsibility to work for the solution of global warming, infectious diseases, water, disasters and energy.
* Decided to launch JRCP and signed MOU concerning JRCP.
* Decided to organize workshops for the exchange of young researchers.
* Decided to strengthen diverse cooperation and exchange of information among universities, research institutes and funding agencies and signed MOU regarding diverse activities.

* Future-oriented trilateral science and technology cooperation system

■Outcome :
* Agreed to address common regional issues such as disaster management, epidemic prevention, environmental protection and energy development and to cooperate trilaterally.
* Affirmed that trilateral S&T cooperation should be pursued for peaceful purpose only and that the three countries share responsibilities conforming to such international standards as protection of intellectual property.
* Commended the effort to promote trilateral science and technology cooperation such as the Trilateral DirectorGeneral Meetings, Heads of Research Councils in Asia (A-HORCs) Meetings, Science and Technology Policy Research Seminars, etc.
* Undertook to hold trilateral workshop of experts in Fukuoka with a focus on the environment and energy technology.
* Undertook to expand joint research projects in the field of traditional medicine, traditional technology and to commence talks for holding of an atomic energy R&D cooperation forum for the peaceful use of atomic energy among nuclear research institutions of the three countries within the framework of international agreements.
* Shared the view on the importance of exchange of young scientists.
* Agreed on the importance of exchange of information and personnel in connection with the evaluation of R&D programs and on legal and institutional systems with respect to the issue of scientific integrity.
