Others 1st Tripartite Policy Dialogue on Air Pollution

The 1st Tripartite Policy Dialogue on Air Pollution among China, Japan and the ROK was held on March 20 to 21, 2014 in Beijing, China. This Dialogue took place upon an agreement of establishing a policy dialogue on air pollution at the 15th Tripartite Environment Ministers’ Meeting in May, 2013 in Kitakyushu, Japan.
The three delegations, headed by officials from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China, the Ministry of Environment of Japan, and the Ministry of Environment of the ROK, introduced national policies on air pollution, shared experiences on air pollution prevention and control, and discussed future cooperation under the policy dialogue mechanism. The three parties agreed to hold the second policy dialogue in 2015 in the ROK. The participants also paid a visit to China National Environmental Monitoring Center.
Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat attended the meeting as an observer.
