Others TCS Delegation Paid a Courtesy Call to the Ministry of Commerce of China

On November 28, 2019, the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) new board members headed by Secretary-General MICHIGAMI Hisashi paid a courtesy call to the Ministry of Commerce of China (MOFCOM) in Beijing, and met with the Assistant Minister LI Chenggang. TCS Deputy Secretary-General CAO Jing attended the meeting.
Mr. LI Chenggang acknowledged TCS’ achievements and appreciated TCS’ contribution in trilateral economic and trade cooperation. He affirmed MOFCOM’s future collaboration with TCS and provided concrete suggestions to TCS on promoting economic and trade cooperation among the three countries.
SG MICHIGAMI introduced TCS’ past participation and activities in the framework of Trilateral Economic and Trade Minister’s Meeting as well as its independent events to strengthen the endeavor. TCS reassured its willingness to support all three ministries to keep advancing trilateral economic and trade cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on economic and trade status of China, Japan and ROK. Both sides believed that economic cooperation among the three countries was critical to global stability and prosperity, thus ongoing collaboration should be further strengthened.
