Others TCS Delegation paid courtesy call to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China 2019-11-29

On November 29, 2019, the TCS new board members headed by Secretary-General MICHIGAMI Hisashi paid a courtesy call to Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China (MFA) and met with Vice Foreign Minister LUO Zhaohui to exchange views on the trilateral cooperation among China, Japan and the ROK. TCS Deputy Secretaries-General CAO Jing and KANG Doho attended the meeting. 


Vice Minister LUO welcomed the TCS delegation and spoke highly of the achievements of the trilateral cooperation during the past 20 years, as well as the significant role of TCS and its contributions in promoting trilateral cooperation. Mr. LUO emphasized that Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China will fully support the development of TCS. He encouraged TCS to keep developing its activities, both government-to-government schemes and people-to-people exchanges. 

TCS Secretary-General MICHIGAMI appreciated MFA’s continuous support to TCS. He looked forward to a successful Trilateral Summit to be held in China, which will bring more outcomes and momentum to future trilateral cooperation. Besides, SG MICHIGAMI introduced the past events and future plans of TCS in political, economic and socio-cultural areas and underlined that TCS will try its best to provide more support to trilateral cooperation mechanisms.
