TCS Secretary-General LEE Jongheon and Deputy Secretary-General HAN Mei attended Opening Ceremony of Crested Ibis Cultural Exhibition held at Osaka Museum of Nature History in Osaka, Japan on June 26, 2019 with the theme of “The Wheel of Friendship, Harmonious and Beautiful world”. Mr. GUO Weimin, Vice Minister of the State Council Information Office of China, Mr. MIYAMOTO Yuji, Former Japanese Ambassador to China, Mr. LI Bin, Director-General of Publicity Department of Shaanxi Province and relevant cultural figures and friendship associations participated the Ceremony.
At the Opening Ceremony, SG LEE delivered a congratulatory remark and emphasized the significance of organizing this crested ibis exhibition at the timing of the 20th Anniversary of trilateral cooperation this year. He noted that crested ibis is a very good cooperative agenda to keep positive momentum of promoting trilateral cooperation. The three countries should continue our efforts towards the restoration of crested ibis, and further promote substantial cooperation in high potential areas including tourism, culture, and revitalization of local economy.
