Others TCS Board Members Paid A Courtesy Visit to Ministry of the Environment

On December 14, 2015, TCS board members visited the Ministry of the Environment of Japan and exchanged views on the trilateral cooperation with Mr. KAJIWARA Shigemoto, Director-General of Global Environment Bureau.
Secretary-General YANG Houlan stated that trilateral environmental cooperation is one of the most significant fields for trilateral cooperation, which has the longest history and has been endorsed at the 6th Trilateral Summit by the three leaders. In order to deepen environmental cooperation among the three countries, SG YANG stressed that TCS stands ready to provide any support for further promoting trilateral environmental cooperation.
Director-General KAJIWARA introduced the current development of the trilateral environmental cooperation under the TEMM (Tripartite Environment Ministers Meeting). Showing the idea how to materialize the Joint Action Plan on Environment Cooperation 2015-19 adopted at the TEMM17, Mr. KAJIWARA showed Japan’s willingness to cooperate with TCS.
