On July 17, TCS Deputy Secretary-General Yan Liang met with Mr. Tang Shengyao, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Representative in the Republic of Korea, at the FAO Partnership and Liaison Office in Seoul.
The meeting served as an opportunity to exchange views on potential cooperation in the field of agriculture, rural development, and food security among China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. Both sides explored synergies between TCS’s trilateral platforms and FAO’s regional programs, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, capacity building, and youth engagement.
The two sides agreed to maintain close communication and explore concrete projects including the Trilateral Young Rural Leader’s Exchange Program.
