TC Activities Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat Launches China-Japan-ROK Short Video Contest 2025

The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) announces the launch of the China-Japan-ROK Short Video Contest 2025. This contest commemorates the "2025-2026 Year of Cultural Exchange" and aims to promote mutual understanding among China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. Participants are invited to explore themes related to the cultures of the three nations and the CJK Word of the Year 2025 "Future (未来/미래)", which symbolizes the spirit of trilateral cooperation.
The submission period will run for 4 weeks from Monday, February 17, to Sunday, March 23, 2025. Citizens of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea can participate individually or in teams from Monday, February 17, to Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Seven exceptional entries will be selected through TCS's review process. Winners will be announced on April 11, 2025, via the TCS website, with direct notifications to the winners. The winning videos will be showcased at the "2025-2026 Year of Cultural Exchange" opening ceremony in Tokyo, Japan on April 14, 2025.
Entries should be submitted through the official contest website at https://tyen.tcs-asia.org/home. Submissions can be made individually or as a team, with each participant or team eligible to win for only one entry.
TCS welcomes citizens from the three countries to actively participate and views this contest as a meaningful opportunity to foster connections and deepen mutual understanding among the people of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
