Others TCS Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang Visits China's Ministry of Emergency Management

On January 17, 2025, Deputy Secretary-General of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) YAN Liang visited the Ministry of Emergency Management of China and met with LIU Shunzhang, Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department.
During the meeting, DSG YAN expressed appreciation for MEM's continued support of the mechanism, providing an overview of TCS' active engagement in this field and highlighting the TCS’ role in expressing solidarity with the three countries during recent natural disasters through official letters of condolence.
Deputy Director General LIU spoke highly of TCS' contributions to the Trilateral Ministers' Meeting on Disaster Management. He highlighted emergency management as a natural area for enhanced cooperation, noting that its humanitarian focus on saving lives and helping people creates strong common ground for the three countries to advance their collaborative efforts.
Director GAO Kun, who also attended the meeting, reaffirmed that trilateral cooperation mechanisms remain a core priority for the ministry. She expressed MEM's commitment to supporting TCS in organizing the upcoming working-level consultation meeting.
