The TCS session at the Jeju Forum was held on May 29th, revolving around the theme of "Synergy for Change: Enhancing the CAMPUS Asia Initiatives for a Better World." The session featured expert discussions on the current status of the CAMPUS Asia Initiatives, opportunities for enhancement, and potential lessons to be learned from the ERASMUS community. Following the session, the CAMPUS Asia Alumni Workshop held, involving 30 participants who conducted thorough research on the current state of the CAMPUS Asia program and collaboratively drafted two-page policy proposals in groups. Each group focused on different agendas, such as identifying best practices within the CAMPUS Asia Consortium, formulating strategies for designing a sustainable regional academic program, exploring ways to position the CAMPUS Asia program as a catalyst for peacebuilding within the Trilateral Cooperation framework, and developing frameworks for fostering a multi-consortium community.

In addition to the Jeju Forum session and the CAMPUS Asia Alumni Workshop, participants engaged in various other activities including networking sessions, site and cultural visits in Jeju, and a reception, all aimed at enriching their experience and fostering stronger connections.

CAMPUS Asia (Collective Action for Mobility Program of University Students in Asia) is a cross-border student mobility program among China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea. The program aims to strengthen networks among higher education institutions in Asia and promote student exchanges through joint and double degree programs and short-term exchange programs at both undergraduate and graduate levels. As articulated in the joint statements of the 1st and 2nd Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meetings, the CAMPUS Asia Program is a main priority in trilateral education cooperation.

The CAMPUS Asia Alumni Workshop, now in its fourth edition, is a Secretariat-led initiative designed to provide CAMPUS Asia students and graduates with ongoing opportunities for interaction, fellowship, and capacity building.
