On December 1, 2023, the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang, was invited to deliver a lecture at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS).
During the lecture, DSG YAN provided an overview of the history and development of Trilateral Cooperation, emphasizing its mission in promoting lasting peace, common prosperity, and a shared future in the region. He also introduced key youth projects at TCS, including the Young Ambassador Program and the Trilateral Youth Summit, and encouraged students to participate. Furthermore, DSG YAN informed students about the ongoing TCS CJK Spirit Word of Year 2024 event and encouraged them to join and vote for a trilateral common word that best represents the spirit of Trilateral Cooperation. DSG YAN also shared his personal experiences in his career, inspiring young students to pursue careers in diplomacy.
During the Q&A session, students actively engaged with DSG YAN, asking questions about Trilateral Cooperation, and TCS-related projects.
Prior to the lecture, DSG YAN met with Prof. Jang Tae-Yeoub, Vice President of HUFS. They discussed further promoting cooperation between the two organizations and enhancing student exchanges among the three countries through collaborative initiatives.
