Others TCS 7th Consultative Board Paid a Courtesy Visit on the Japan Institute of International Affairs

On November 21, 2023, TCS Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup, Deputy Secretary-General ZUSHI Shuji and Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang (collectively the 7th “Consultative Board”) paid a courtesy call on Mr. YOSHIDA Tomoyuki, Director General of the Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA).
SG LEE mentioned that wisdom and insight of think-tank is important element for promoting trilateral cooperation. In this sense, DSG ZUSHI sought Japanese potential participants from JIIA to TCS’s main activities such as Young Scholars Forum (YSF) and International Forum of Trilateral Cooperation (IFTC).
Director General YOSHIDA introduced seminars and symposiums conducted by JIIA, and he expressed that think-tank cooperation is meaningful, contributing to enhance public awareness of diverse issues. He showed willingness to support TCS activities in this regard.
