Others TCS 7th Consultative Board Paid a Courtesy Visit on the University of Tokyo and Waseda University

On November 21, 2023, TCS Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup, Deputy Secretary- General ZUSHI Shuji and Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang (collectively the 7th “Consultative Board”) paid a courtesy call to Japanese universities implementing the CAMPUS Asia Program: The University of Tokyo and Waseda University.
At each university, SG LEE appreciated close partnership with TCS, in particular, for the TCS internship programme initiated in 2023. He also introduced TCS’ plans to further develop its youth exchange projects. Especially for the CAMPUS Asia program, he requested the university’s inputs for topic and interests of the alumni community so that TCS can make its alumni workshop more meaningful.
At the University of Tokyo, Dr. IIDA Keisuke, Dean of the Graduate School of Public Policy (GraSPP), welcomed the delegation. He hoped to explore future cooperation opportunities to strengthen the CAMPUS Asia alumni network.
At Waseda University, Dr. SODA Osamu, Senior Dean of the School of Social Sciences expressed respect for TCS’ various people-to-people exchange programme for youth. Ideas for collaboration, including a joint career session for students and alumni, were raised from the University.
Both universities welcomed that the TCS is considering opening its projects to students from ASEAN countries and offered continuous support in promoting youth exchanges.
