On November 7, 2023, TCS Deputy Secretary-General YAN Liang visited Amb. Ganbold Baasanjav, Head of the ESCAP East and North-East Asia (ENEA) Office in Incheon. The two parties discussed furthering cooperation between the two organizations.
DSG YAN expressed his appreciation for ESCAP’s continued collaboration with TCS, namely the Carbon Neutrality Forum and the Session on ageing society from the previous International Forum on Trilateral Cooperation (IFTC). He also mentioned that TCS has greatly benefited from participating in the Commission Sessions of ESCAP in the past years, and hoped to expand ways of participation in the Session.
Amb. Ganbold thanked DSG YAN for visiting their office in Incheon, and commended the results of the TCS-ESCAP co-organized projects. Amb. Ganbold expressed his willingness to explore more programs together with TCS, especially at the upcoming 80th Commission Session, which is scheduled for April 2024. He expected strengthened ties between the two offices in various areas.
