On November 9, 2023, TCS Secretary-General LEE Hee-sup, Deputy Secretary-General ZUSHI Shuji and YAN Liang (collectively as the “7th Consultative Board”) paid a visit to Mr. KIM Hae-yong, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC).
SG KIM congratulated the 7th Consultative Board on their assumption of office. Introducing the functions of the ASEAN-Korea Centre and the similarities in the roles of AKC and TCS in promoting mutual perception among the member countries, he expressed hopes for AKC and TCS to strengthen and explore opportunities for mutual support and participation.
SG LEE shared the progress of Trilateral Cooperation, highlighting that the TCS has been involved in the ASEAN Plus Three cooperation for many years and has been annually participating in the APT Summit. Stressing the importance of ASEAN Plus Three (APT) cooperation for the peace and prosperity of the region, he expressed hopes for future cooperation among the two organization to further contribute to APT cooperation.
