On October 30, 2023, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) Deputy Secretary-
General YAN Liang delivered a lecture at Liaoning Normal University.
Before the lecture, DSG Yan greeted Liaoning Normal Universityʼs President XU
Shaofeng. President Xu warmly welcomed the TCS delegation and mentioned
that Liaoning Normal University is eager to expand its exchanges and participate
in the platform of university exchanges between China, Japan, and Korea. DSG
Yan introduced the TCS origin and various projects, including "The Word of
Year". HE pointed out that the selection website will open soon to the people of
China, Japan, and Korea and hoping that teachers and students at Liaoning
Normal University could participate.
DSG Yanʼs lecture was aimed to publicizing the importance of cooperation
between the three countries and introducing the TCS and its role in promoting
lasting peace, common prosperity, and a shared future in the region. DSG Yan
stressed that “Youth” is the future of cooperation between the three countries.
Over 100 students and faculty members attended the lecture. Following the
lecture, students actively engaged in Q&A session and asked questions
regarding career as a Chinese diplomat and working at TCS.
