On 21 August 2023, SG OU attended 19th Northeast Asia Youth Forum, hosted by MRA/Initiatives of Change-Korea and supported by Ministry of Gender
Equality and Family of the ROK, and delivered a keynote speech under the theme
of ‘Global Changes and Sustainable Development in the Northeast Asia’.
SG OU presented to the participants major programs that the TCS organizes, underlining that China, Japan, and the ROK as the significant members of the
international community share a unique geographical proximity and shared culture. She highly emphasized that culture and people-to-people exchanges on
empowering young people are important to our future-oriented cooperation.
She introduced TCS youth-related programs including The 1st Trilateral Young
Rural Leader’s Exchange Program (TREP), 2023 Trilateral Youth Summit (TYS)
etc., which have now been integrated under the Trilateral Youth Exchange
Network (TYEN).
