TC Activities TCS Secretary-General Amb. OU Boqian Delivered Congratulatory Video Message at the 10th Trilateral Youth Diplomatic Camp

On July 24, TCS Secretary-General Amb. OU Boqian delivered a congratulatory video message at the opening ceremony of the ‘10th Trilateral Youth Diplomatic Camp’ held at the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Deputy Director-General KANG Young-shin, Northeast Asian Affairs Bureau of the ROK MOFA, also attended the ceremony and delivered the welcoming remarks.
In her remarks, SG OU introduced the TCS and its key missions to foster lasting peace, common prosperity, and shared culture among China, Japan, and Korea. Emphasizing the TCS' dedication to supporting intergovernmental mechanisms and initiatives for mutual understanding, she particularly highlighted the significance of youth exchange as a top priority. In this regard, she underlined the TCS' ongoing efforts to provide opportunities for the young generation to come together, and stressed the vital role they play in shaping the future of the region. SG OU also encouraged students to actively engage in the Trilateral Youth Exchange Network (TYEN), which was newly launched by TCS this year marking a significant step towards institutionalizing various youth programs.
*‘Trilateral Youth Diplomatic Camp’ has been hosted by the ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs annually since 2012. This year, 42 students consisting of Chinese, Japanese and Koreans who study in the ROK participated in the four-day camp to promote their youth network and enhance understanding on Trilateral Cooperation.
