The 9th Meeting of Director Generals of Personnel Authorities of China, Japan and the ROK was held on June 4, 2019 in Seoul, ROK. The meeting was chaired by Director General CHOI Jae-yung of the Planning & Coordination Office of the ROK Ministry of Personnel Management, and attended by Deputy Director-General WANG Xin of the National Civil Service Administration, Organization Department, CPC Central Committee, General Office, and Director General for Secretariat’s Policy Matters NISHI Hiroaki, from the Japan National Personnel Authority. Socio-Cultural Affairs Director NAGAFUCHI Kenji of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat also attended as an observer.
The purpose of the first section of the meeting was to review the Memorandum of Cooperation 2020-2021. The meeting was discussed on 1) the frequency of the meetings, 2) CJK International Symposium, 3) Personnel Administration Joint Research, 4) Sharing of Personnel Administrative Information, and 5) bilateral personnel exchanges.
The second section focused on the situation of the 8th Heads of Personnel Authority Meeting to be held in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan in September, 2019.
