TCS

 ​​On November 23, 2018, Deputy Secretary-General HAN Mei welcomed and received Mr. CHEN Caikun, Deputy Head of Yantai Investment Development Board and Chief Representative at the Office of Business of Yantai City in Japan, at the TCS in Seoul, ROK. 

During the meeting, DSG HAN introduced TCS activities for the promotion of trilateral cooperation with a focus of TCS work in the areas of trade and invest, economy, and education. She also mentioned her very positive experience with attending the 5th Organization for East Asia Economy Development International Business Meeting in Yantai earlier this month. She mentioned the TCS’s collaboration with local-level governments and companies and the TCS’s always firm support to local-level exchange activities. 

Mr. CHEN highly appreciated the TCS’s work and expressed the Yantai City’s interest in deepening cooperation with its Japan and ROK counterparts via the TCS’s platforms. He further introduced the industrial parks cooperation between Yantai and Japan and the ROK respectively. In addition, he reaffirmed the City’s great interest in cooperation with the TCS.

After the meeting, DSG HAN led the delegation to a brief tour around the TCS meeting venue on the 15th floor inaugurated this year. 

The TCS has always been keen on providing support to local-level governments and value the impetus offered by local-level activities for promoting trilateral cooperation among China, Japan and the ROK.
