Seminar & Forum TCS Attended the China-Japan-Korea Business Cooperation Conference in Shaoxing 2018.05.18

 


 


The China-Japan-Korea (CJK) Business Cooperation Conference named “Trilateral Summit of Business Association Cooperation and Trilateral Summit of Economics, Trade and Investment Cooperation in Emerging Industries”* was held in Shaoxing, China on May 18, 2018. The conference themed “New Era, New Economy, New Drive”* aimed to further cooperation among the business associations as well as explore investment opportunities in the emerging industries in the three countries. The event was hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) and Shaoxing Municipal Government. High levels from CJK governments, business associations and corporates attended the conference.

Deputy Secretary-General YAMAMOTO Yasushi delivered a remark to congratulate the opening of the conference as well as the launch of the “CJK Belt&Road (B&R) Business Association Network”*. He addressed that TCS would continue to work closely with all parties from the three countries to 1) promote free trade and regional economic integration; 2) advocate innovation and the development of emerging industries; and 3) strengthen pragmatic cooperation among local governments and business associations.

On the occasion, the CJK B&R Business Association Network was launched. The network was initiated by 20 business associations from CJK in Weifang in September 2017. The network aims to increase CJK corporates’ understanding of B&R Initiative, promote pragmatic communication in the areas covered by B&R Initiative, and deepen cooperation for mutual benefits.
