Others SG YANG Houlan Paid a Courtesy Visit to Agency of Cultural Affairs of Japan

On April 20, 2016, TCS Secretary-General YANG Houlan visited the Agency of Cultural Affairs of Japan and exchanged views with Mr. Mr. MIYATA Ryohei, the Commissioner.
TCS Secretary General YANG Houlan underscored the importance of trilateral cultural cooperation which was echoed by the three leaders at the 6th Summit. He further stated that the TCS will continue to provide effective supports for enhancing trilateral cultural cooperation and exchange including the East Asian Cultural Cities Program, one of the flagship follow-ups of the Trilateral Culture Ministers’ Meeting.
Commissioner MIYATA shared the view that that trilateral cultural cooperation and exchange is significant because they bring people among the three countries closer and promote friendship even beyond the language barrier. He also expressed the hope to continue to work closely with the TCS in implementing relevant initiatives.
