Others UNISDR Director Madame Kirsi Madi Visited the TCS

On July 20, 2016, Madame Kirsi Madi, Director of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNISDR) visited the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) and had exchange on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) with Dr. UMEZAWA Akima, Deputy Secretary-General of the TCS.
The two sides introduced each other’s recent activities, reviewed their cooperation projects in the past, and discussed about the international community’s efforts in DRR and the program of implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 (SFDRR). Both sides agreed to strengthen exchange and cooperation, and continue to conduct joint projects to promote the implementation of SFDRR.
