2nd China-Japan-ROK Legal Forum ＆ the 4th Northeast Asia Legal Forum was held at Jilin University, Changchun, China from October 21 to 22, 2016. The Forum is hosted by China Law Society, organized by Jilin Law Society and Jilin University and co-organized by Shandong University, Liaoning University, Heilongjiang University and Inner Mongolia University. Under the theme of “Strengthening the Regional Legal Cooperation and Creating the New Future of Northeast Asia”, more than 150 experts and scholars from nations of the Northeast Asia attended the Forum.
TCS Secretary-General YANG Houlan attended the Forum and delivered a congratulatory remarks at the opening ceremony. He pointed out that the three countries are strongly complimentary to each other in economy, strengthening the economic cooperation would make positive contribution to the development of this region even to the world economy. In this context, a comprehensive legal environment is indispensable for the facilitation of economic integration in Northeast Asia.
In accordance with TCS’ attendance to the Forum, SG Yang had a meeting with Mr. ZHANG Mingqi, Vice President of China Law Society to exchange the opinions on the ways of enhancing trilateral legal cooperation as well as the future collaboration between the TCS and China Law Society.
