Mechanisms TCS Participated in the First Round Dialogue of China-Japan-Korea Cyber Policy Consultation Mechanism

The First Round Dialogue of China-Japan-Korea Cyber Policy Consultation Mechanism was held on October 21, 2014 in Beijing, China. The Coordinator for Cyber Affairs of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, the Ambassador in Charge of Cyber Policy of the Japanese Foreign Ministry and the Ambassador for International Security Affairs of the ROK Foreign Ministry led delegations to the meeting. The TCS participated in the meeting as an observer.
The three parties exchanged views on their respective cyber policies and domestic mechanisms and explored possible ways of enhancing trilateral cooperation on cyber affairs. The meeting also touched upon issues such as combating cyber crimes and cyber terrorism and Internet emergency response, confidence-building measures as well as relevant international and regional processes.
