Trilateral Women’s Economic Conference 2018 was held in Kyoto, Japan on Dec. 15, 2018 organized by Trilateral Women’s Economic Conference Executive Committee. Ms. TANAKA Tazuko, Director of Conference Executive Committee, Mr. KADOKAWA Daisaku, Kyoto City Mayor and Ms. CHOE Keum Sook, President of Korean National Council of Women participated in the conference. On behalf of the Trilateral Cooperation Secretary (TCS), Deputy Secretary-General YAMAMOTO Yasushi attended the conference and delivered congratulatory address. In his speech, he explained the pragmatic trilateral cooperation which directly benefits the people of the three countries as well as highlighted the significance of women’s role in promoting various fields of trilateral cooperation.
The conference brought together more
than 250 participants including culture figures, governmental officials, business
men/women and students, etc. The panelists had active discussion with the
themes of “Global Kyoto - Change culture into economic value” and “Cross-border
power and content”.
