On June 30, 2024, the Youth Insight Exchange CJK & Beyond Program was successfully held at Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Organized by the Youth Envoy of Korea China Economic & Cultural Educational Association (KCCEA) and China Southern Airlines Korea, this event aimed to foster international collaboration and cultural exchange among young leaders.
The program gathered 55 enthusiastic youth from China, Japan, ROK and other 10 different countries, providing them with a unique platform to share their experiences, engage in meaningful dialogues, and broaden their perspectives on global issues. The event featured a rich agenda including expert Q&A sessions, inspiring speeches, and interactive group discussions.
The opening ceremony was graced by captivating performances from talented youth of China, Korea, and Japan, setting an energetic and vibrant tone for the day. Mr. Yan Liang, Deputy Secretary General of TCS, delivered the opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of youth exchange in building a better future. This was followed by a congratulatory message from Ms. Zhan Yin, President of Youth Envoy of KCCEA, who highlighted the significance of cultural understanding and cooperation.
Our Chairman, Dr. SHIN Kyungsook, and the President of the Youth Envoy, Ms. ZHAN Yin, together with distinguished guests Mr. YAN Liang, Deputy Secretary General of TCS, Mr. LI Guanyu, Director of the Department of Social & Cultural Affairs at the TCS, Mr. WANG Xun, President of China Southern Airlines Korea, Professor KIM Dongchan, Program Chair at Yonsei University, Mr. ZHANG Zhongyi, President of the Yonsei Charhar Center, and Mr. Eric Du, Senior Executive Vice President of Huawei Technologies Korea, attended this program.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in expert-led Q&A sessions, where Professor KIM Dongchan and DSG YAN answered insightful questions raised by the participants, gaining valuable insights into various fields. Following this, Mr. WANG Xun delivered a keynote speech on "Aviation Talk," sharing his expertise and perspectives on the aviation industry. The interactive group discussions enabled participants to delve deeper into topics on aviation and mutual interest, fostering an environment of collaborative learning and cultural appreciation.
The Youth Insight Exchange CJK & Beyond Program exemplifies the power of youth in driving positive change through cultural and educational exchanges.
