2014-10-08
The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) attended the 10th Trilateral Culture Exchange Forum held in Busan on October 8, 2014. It is an annual event organized by Korea-Japan Cultural Exchange Council, Korea-China Friendship Association (ROK), Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (China), Japan Foundation and Foundation for Cultural Heritage and Art Research (Japan). The forum gathers intellectuals and artists of the three countries to discuss the present situation and future prospect of the trilateral culture exchange.
This year’s forum was held under the theme of ‘The Situation of the Film Making in Korea, China, Japan and Mutual Cooperation’. Delegations reported their past activities of cultural exchange and listened to the presentations by the trilateral movie experts on the situation and prospect of joint film production. After the forum, a side event took place with the traditional “Crane Dance”, local elementary school choir singing the forum’s theme song of “We are the Future” in CJK languages, and the trilateral short film screening.
The next forum will be held in China in 2015.
