TCS

The TCS held the Trilateral Research Seminar under the title of “Deeping Partnership between Trilateral Cooperation and ASEAN: Towards the Vision of an East Asian Community” on June 28, 2012, at the TCS Main Conference Room. More than 50 participants including officials from China, ROK, Japan, ASEAN and other countries attended the seminar and had fruitful discussions with each other.

The seminar started with opening remarks by Amb. Shin Bong-kil, Secretary General of the TCS. Amb. Chung Hae-moon, Secretary General of ASEAN-Korea Centre, Mr. Kurai Takashi, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission from Embassy of Japan, and Mr. Chen Hai, Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission from Embassy of P. R. China gave congratulatory remarks and expressed their high expectation to the seminar.

The presentations were given by 7 speakers with the subjects of trilateral FTA, Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), East Asian economic integration and possible cooperative areas between trilateral cooperation and ASEAN.
