Others Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat holds the special lecture of “Three Strands of Asia” 2014-04-14
The Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) held the special public lecture of “Three Strands of Asia” on April 14, 2014. The lecture was delivered by Professor Kent Calder, the Director of Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies, Johns Hopkins University. He visited Korea as a speaker of the 2014 International Forum for the Trilateral Cooperation (April 15th), one of the prominent projects of the TCS. The event gathered sixty participants from diverse fields including universities, government agencies, private companies and media. 

The lecture by Professor Kent Calder, the renowned expert in Northeast Asian regionalism, featured his recent book, “The Making of Northeast Asia”. The two hour lecture addressed Professor Calder’s vision for the Northeast Asia regional cooperation, followed by a lively discussion among the audience. 

The TCS will continue holding “Three Strands of Asia” every month with well-known professionals from different fields including tradition, social life and popular culture.
