Others TCS Board Members Paid a Courtesy Visit to Ministry of Education of China 2015-11-25

On November 25, 2015, TCS board members paid a courtesy call on Mr. HAO Ping, Vice Minister of Ministry of Education of China and exchanged the views on the measures to expend education exchange among China, Japan and the ROK. 

At the meeting, Secretary-General YANG Houlan of the TCS delivered the positive message of the high expectation on promoting trilateral education cooperation from the three leaders during the 6th Trilateral Summit. He emphasized the importance of the agreements reached by the three leaders to establish the Trilateral Education Ministers’ Meeting and expand “CAMPUS Asia” program, and hopes that the Ministry of Education of China can take an active role in implementing these agreements. In addition, SG Yang stated that the TCS stands ready to collaborate with the three parties for relevant follow-ups and proposed suggestions such as establishment of “Trilateral University Presidents Forum”. 

Mr. HAO Ping expressed his willingness to enhance the trilateral education exchange by proposing several suggestions including increasing the number of students who study other two languages, “ten thousand sisters’ schools among the three countries” and “Trilateral people-to-people exchange Mechanism. Two sides agreed to enhance partnership for close collaboration for carrying out these suggestions.
