On December 10, 2015, the delegation of the Economy and Trade Office (ETO) of Shandong Province headed by Chief Delegate LIU Yubing visited the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS).
During the meeting, SG YANG Houlan introduced the progress of trilateral cooperation and achievements made by TCS and emphasized the importance of trilateral cooperation as an indispensable component of Northeast Asian regional cooperation. SG YANG also made specific suggestions on the trilateral cooperative model at the local government level for Shangdong Province.
Chief Delegate of ETO LIU made a brief introduction on the status of economic relations among the Three Countries and pointed out the advantage of geographical proximity of Shandong Province for trilateral economic cooperation. He also echoed the necessity for cooperation among relevant local governments from the Three Countries and expressed expectations for establishing cooperative network with the TCS.
