Others TCS Board Members Paid a Courtesy Visit to Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan 2015.12.14
On December 14, 2015, TCS board members visited Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan, and met with Ms. YAMAMOTO Naoko, Assistant Minister for Global Health. 

TCS Secretary-General YANG Houlan expressed his gratitude for inviting the TCS to attend the 8th Tripartite Health Ministers’ Meeting held in Tokyo, Japan on November 29, 2015. He stated his high appreciation of the three parties’ continued efforts to develop an institutionalized mechanism on health. In addition, he showed his willingness to provide full support for further strengthening the cooperation by suggesting relevant proposals to facilitate the communication and collaboration between governmental officials and experts on health and social welfare. 

Ms. YAMAMOTO welcomed the TCS’ initiatives and support, and underscored the significance of closed cooperation between relevant governmental officials and experts. The two sides reached the agreement on enhancing the partnership and making joint efforts to accelerate progress towards tripartite health cooperation.
