On January 16, 2019, Secretary-General LEE Jong-heon had a consultation meeting with Mr. LEE Kwang-jae, President of Yeosijae (Future Consensus Institute) to discuss the possibility of future cooperation between the TCS and the Yeosijae, a think-tank established in Seoul in 2015.

President LEE introduced his ideas on the Northeast Asian cooperation, named ‘Butterfly Project’ in detail and the on-going projects of the Institute. SG LEE emphasized the importance of the close networking and cooperation among regional institutions and research institutes to realize harmonious future in Northeast Asia in between the era of uncertainty.

Both sides shared views on exploring the possibility of the further cooperation for implementation of trilateral cooperation agendas through follow-up consultations.
