Others TCS Participation in Global Festa JAPAN 2025
2025-09-27 ~ 2025-09-28
On September 27 and 28, Tokyo, Japan, the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) carried out promotional activities at Global Festa JAPAN 2025, Japan’s largest international cooperation event, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the Japan NGO Center for International Cooperation (JANIC). The event brought together approximately 180 public and private organizations engaged in international cooperation activities.
TCS participated in the event for the first time since 2014, and it was a valuable opportunity to reintroduce the organization to the Japanese public. Activities included operating an exhibition booth and hosting a sub-stage session.
On September 27, the sub-stage session provided an introduction to Trilateral Cooperation and TCS through different programs. Deputy Secretary-General ZUSHI Shuji provided a brief history and an overall structure of CJK cooperation and TCS, followed by video messages and an on-stage interview with TCS staff giving short introductions to some TCS programs. Ms. HARA Hori, former participant in TCS’s youth programs, also took to the stage to share her experiences in the Young Ambassador Program and the Trilateral Youth Summit.
The session also introduced the CJK Common Vocabulary Project, and TCS encouraged the audience to participate in the upcoming campaign, “CJK Spirit Word of the Year 2026.”
Throughout the two-day event, TCS operated an exhibition booth highlighting the importance of the Trilateral Cooperation, the role of TCS, and its wide-ranging projects in areas such as youth exchange, economy, and environment. TCS staff directly interacted with a wide range of visitors, from children to adults, through quizzes and games, effectively introducing TCS and its activities.
