First Directorial Meeting for the 9th CJK Ministerial Conference on Transport and Logistics was held online on 15 November 2022. The delegations from Ministry of Transport of China, Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries of the ROK, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan and the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) participated the meeting.
Director KIM Jieun from Department of Economic Affairs delivered opening remarks. In her remarks, she pointed that COVID-19 generated new possibilities and opportunities of transport and logistics services and the importance of strengthening cooperation with undergoing uncertainties and profound changes. Following her remarks, Program Officer LI Nianwei gave a presentation on the progress of on-going project initiated by the TCS which was agreed at the 8th CJK Ministerial Conference on Transport and Logistics.
Meeting participants discussed the preparation of the 9th Ministerial Conference and reaffirmed that close collaboration in this regard.
