On 18 October 2022, TCS Deputy Secretary-General BEK Bum-hym met with Ms. Olga Dzhumaeva, head of East Asia Delegation of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and exchanged views on future cooperation between the two sides. The representatives of Korean Red Cross also attended the meeting. 

TCS Deputy Secretary-General BEK Bum-hym welcomed Ms. Olga Dzhumaeva for her visit. DSG BEK briefly introduced TCS’ efforts in disaster management during the part years and the ongoing projects that TCS has been focusing on since the 6th Consultative Board took office, especially youth exchange. Ms. Olga Dzhumaeva recalled the previous cooperation between TCS and IFRC in the area of disaster management and looked forward to reviving the cooperation between IFRC and TCS. Both sides agreed to maintain close communication and explore more opportunities for future cooperation in the areas of disaster management, aging society and youth exchange.
