Seminar & Forum TCS Participated in 2020 International Forum on Regional Cooperation of China, Japan and South Korea 2020.11.14

On 14 November 2020, TCS Deputy Secretary-General KANG Do Ho attended the 2020 International Forum on Regional Cooperation of China, Japan and South Korea, hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University of China.

 

Under the theme of “The Restructuring and Upgrading of Economic Cooperation among China, Japan and South Korea: Co-creation of a New Era”, the Forum was held online, bringing together more than 30 scholars and researchers to share their insights and present academic outcome on promoting economic cooperation in Northeast Asia. At the Forum, TCS Deputy Secretary-General Kang delivered congratulatory remark in the opening session via video. He emphasized the significance of trilateral cooperation in contributing to the economic development in East Asia and introduced efforts made by the three countries in response to Covid-19. Amid the unprecedented global epidemic crisis, he called for networked multilateralism, in which international organizations and regional organizations work together more closely, and upholding inclusive multilateralism to involve various sectors including government, business, and academia in the joint response.
