Seminar & Forum TCS Participated in the 10th Liaoning-Kanagawa-Gyeonggi Governors Meeting and Friendship Exchange Meeting

The 10th Liaoning – Kanagawa – Gyeonggi Governors Meeting was held on August 27th and 28th in Shenyang, China. Deputy Secretary-general Mr. Chen Feng was invited and for the first time attended the meeting, and gave a welcoming remark.
The Meeting was themed “aging population and infrastructures of nursing houses for the old generation”. Mr. Liu Qiang, deputy Governor of Liaoning province; Mr. Yoshikawa Shinji, deputy Governor of Kanagawa prefecture; Mr. Kim Hee Kyeum, deputy Governor of Gyeonggi-do attended the meeting, together with officials from civil affairs, trade and welfare departments from the three provinces. Side by side with the governors meeting, a trilateral youth sports competition was organized.
After the meeting, the three provinces signed a joint Memorandum for 10th Liaoning-Kanagawa-Gyeonggi Friendship Exchange Meeting.
Liaoning-Gyeonggi-Kanagawa is one pair of the few trilateral sister cities among the three countries. Since 1996, regular meetings (governor or deputy-governor level) were held each two years on a rotation basis.
