Mechanisms 1st Trilateral Local Governments’ Cooperation Meeting

On Aug. 31, 2015, Secretary-General YANG Houlan participated in the 1st Trilateral Local Governments’ Cooperation Meeting among China, Japan and South Korea and delivered opening remarks. The meeting was co-organized by People’s Government of Jilin Province and the Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS). Under the theme of “Local Governments’’ Cooperation Outlook” and “Trilateral Industrial Cooperation”, the forum brought together around 300 participants including the representatives from local governments, enterprises and economic associations in China, Japan and the ROK.
SG Yang also paid a visit to Jilin University and attended the panel discussion with “Campus Asia” students of Jilin University on Aug. 31, 2015.
On September.1, 2015, Secretary-General Yang attended the Opening Ceremony of the 10th China-Northeast Asia Expo and the 8th Summit Forum on Northeast Asia Cooperation. He also participated in the 2015 China-Japan-Korea Outstanding Entrepreneurs’ Communication Forum and delivered congratulatory remarks. SG Yang attended these meetings as the new Secretary-General of the TCS, upon the beginning of his two-year tenure from September 1, 2015.
