Others TCS Secretary-General OU Boqian Received Interview with Chinese and Korean Media

On August 24, 2023, TCS Secretary-General OU Boqian recevied an interview
with Chinese and Korean media in Seoul, including People’s Daily, Xinhua
News Agency, China News Service, People’s Daily Online, and Aju Daily. She
shared her perspective on the significance of Trilateral Cooperation in the field
of politics, economy, culture, and people-to-people exchanges.
Reflecting on TCS's major accomplishments over the past two years during her
term, SG OU highlighted the efforts to promote trilateral cooperation,
strengthen economic ties and enhance mutual perception through various
programs and events, such as 10 creative new projects : TVG,TCS Day, PR
team, CJK Spirit Word of the Year , Good will Gala, Guest scholarship and
internship, CCEA Tri-city Tour, TYSC, Virtual Marathon, TYS Carnival and
TYEN. She particularly pointed out that in the post-COVID 19 era, TCS has
spared no efforts to promoting face-to-face exchanges for a better understanding
of Trilateral cooperation. Through the endeavors, TCS has not only fulfilled its
mission of supporting existing mechanisms and exploring cooperative projects,
but also increased the general public’s awareness and expanded influence of
trilateral cooperation.
On the regional cooperation and development, she stressed the significant role
of TCS in promoting lasting peace and common prosperity in the region and beyond. She called for more efforts to cooperate in the face of challenges and
difficulties.
On the trilateral economic cooperation, she pointed out that maintaining a stable
and complete supply chain that is important not only to the region but also to
the world.
On the shared culture of the three countries, she said it is important for the three
countries to enjoy and exchange the cultures not to divide. A culture can
flourish only through exchanges and mutual learning with others.
On the youth exchanges, she introduced TCS's youth-related programs and
events, including the 2023 Trilateral Youth Summit, which is the largest-scale
event TCS has ever operated. She encouraged the youth among the three
countries to distinguish right from wrong, truth from lies when confronting a
rapidly changing world and technological challenges.
Looking ahead, SG OU expressed hope that TCS will continue to serve as a
bridge between local governments of the three countries and grassroots people
from the three countries.
