On August 19, Trilateral Cooperation Secretariat (TCS) delegation led by Secretary-General Amb. OU Boqian paid
a visit to Dujiangyan City in the Sichuan Province of China. Vice Mayor ZHOU Jun of Dujiangyan City met with
the delegation. TCS Deputy Secretary-General BEK Bumhym, and other local government officials participated
in the meeting.
At the meeting, Vice Mayor ZHOU warmly welcomed the TCS delegation. He introduced the development
of Dujiangyan City and its exchanges with Japan and the ROK. He hoped that with the support of TCS, the
two sides can continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation in the field of tourism, culture, youth exchanges
and the digital economy.
TCS Secretary-General Amb. OU appreciated the city’s support of the Trilateral Youth Summit (TYS). She briefly
introduced the history and development of Trilateral Cooperation and TCS, especially youth-related programs
such as the Young Ambassador Program (YAP), Trilateral Speech Contest, etc., which have now been integrated
under the Trilateral Youth Exchange Network (TYEN). Since Dujiangyan City has three world-famous heritages,
she encouraged the city to actively join the Trilateral Cooperation framework and activity.
TCS delegation also visited Dujiangyan Base for China Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center and
Dujiangyan International Exchange Hall.
