TCS Deputy Secretary General (DSG) YAMAMOTO Yasushi attended The 3rd East Asia Economic Partnership Forum in Seoul on July 24, 2018. The forum was organized by Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC), Japan-China Organization for Business, Academia & Government Partnership (JCBAG) and was held to promote economic exchange and cooperation among China-Japan-Korea. The forum was consisted of three sessions; 1) RCEP and China-Japan-Korea FTA: Challenges and the Way Forward, 2) The Fourth Industrial Revolution and China-Japan-Korea Trilateral Cooperation, and 3) China-Japan-Korea Trilateral Cooperation on Environmental Issue and Renewable Energy. In each session, experts from each country delivered presentation regarding the related topics, and other experts from each country provided their feedbacks and asked presenters questions in discussion session.
In session 2, DSG YAMAMOTO participated as a speaker for discussion session and presented contribution to trilateral cooperation led by TCS. Also, during the discussion session, experts provided opinions regarding future research or academic initiatives that can be supported by TCS.
