Others TCS Participated in the Opening Ceremony of CJK Youth Exchange Program 2017-09-25

On September 25, 2017, TCS Deputy Secretary-General YAMAMOTO Yasushi participated in China-Japan-Korea Youth Exchange Program organized by Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and Goi Peace Foundation. 

DSG Yamamoto delivered congratulatory remarks during the ceremony to support the participating students, emphasizing the significance of youth leadership in international trust-building activities. In his speech, he encouraged the participants to be the agents of social change for a more sustainable community in East Asia.

The program was organized for the second time in Chiba, Japan after the first kick-off in 2016 in Seoul, ROK. This year, the program convened 30 youths from China, Japan and ROK, 10 from each country and engaged in discussions, site visits, and lectures on this year’s program theme, Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
