Others Secretary-General YANG Houlan visited China Institute of International Studies

On May 4th, 2016, TCS Secretary-General Yang Houlan visited China Institute of International Studies (CIIS) and exchanged views with President Su Ge on the trilateral cooperation and East Asian affairs.
SG Yang briefed that since the resumption of the 6th Trilateral Summit, the trilateral cooperation has been revitalized and shows new dynamics in many fields. He introduced the IFTC 2016 and the 1st Trilateral Public Diplomacy Forum recently held by TCS in Beijing achieved a big success in promoting candid exchange between governments, business and social circles. Stressing on the important role of think-tanks in promoting public diplomacy, SG Yang expressed hope to strengthen cooperation between TCS and relevant think-tanks in the three countries including CIIS to create more platforms for dialogues and exchange to consolidate public support for trilateral cooperation.
Mr. Su Ge spoke highly of TCS’ effort in promoting the trilateral cooperation. He expressed hope to strengthen cooperation with TCS in pushing forward trilateral think-tanks exchange. He also extended invitation to SG Yang to the 2nd International Conference on Trilateral Security Cooperation.
