Seminar & Forum TCS co-organized the Trilateral Symposium on Innovation Policy in Tokyo, Japan

The TCS co-organized the Trilateral Symposium on Innovation Policy with the National Graduate Institute of Policy Studies of Japan (GRIPS) on November 22, 2016 in Tokyo, Japan. The Symposium aimed to promote the significance of innovation, to share current trend of innovation, and to raise public awareness of innovation, hearing prominent experts’ views on current issues and expectations on innovation policy in China, Japan and the Republic of Korea.
In the Symposium, TCS Deputy Secretary-General UMEZAWA Akima emphasized the importance of sharing understanding of social system shift such as industry 4.0 among the three countries in order to aim for a common future. The participants shared the introduction of national innovation policy and best practices, discussed similarities and differences of three countries’ innovation policies, and suggestions for possible trilateral cooperation on innovation.
